Build a service page around the buyer’s questions

Walkthrough notes for making a service page informative enough to support a conversation.

Explain the fit

Begin with who the service helps and the situation it addresses. Avoid a title that sounds impressive but does not tell the visitor what support is available. Use language the intended customer can recognise.

Define the scope

Show examples of deliverables and explain that the final scope is agreed in the proposal. Distinguish included work from possible additions, especially where hosting, paid tools or ongoing maintenance may be involved.

Show the process

Describe how the work starts, when feedback happens and what the visitor needs to provide. A simple delivery explanation can make the next step less uncertain without making unsupported promises about speed or results.

Offer a proportionate next step

An enquiry can begin with a short description of the need. Ask for enough information to route the conversation, not every private detail at once. Make it clear whether a form sends a real request or is a demonstration.

Put it into practice

  • Answer who, what and how.
  • Explain inputs and scope boundaries.
  • Use a clear, honest enquiry action.
